Visa on Arrival
Air travel only — approval letter required
Requires a pre-arranged approval letter issued by a Vietnam Immigration authority before departure. The stamp is collected at the airport upon arrival. Valid for air travel only — cannot be used at land or sea borders.

Visa Exemptions
No visa needed for eligible nationalities
Citizens of ASEAN countries, Japan, South Korea, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia and others may enter Vietnam visa-free for 15–45 days depending on nationality and bilateral agreements.
